LED Configuration
The FR12 provides a dual-row combination of white, blue, and red LEDs. The 7,000k daylight LED illuminates the entire aquarium. Additionally, it includes 650nm-660nm red LEDs and blue LEDs to simulate natural light. In the blue mode, it offers a serene blue moonlight, allowing you to enjoy nighttime observation.
Plant Supporting-True 660nm Red LEDs
Red light is the second main contributor to photosynthesis. Unlike most cheaper LED options, ShinMao incorporate true 630nm-660nm red LEDs. According a NASA study: Red Light (630nm-660nm) is essential for the growth of stems, as well as the expansion of leaves. This wavelength also regulates flowering, dormancy periods, and seed germination.
